Medieval Banquet Restaurant

While visiting London, there are plenty of attractions to satisfy everyone’s taste.  For those who would like to step back in time for an evening, just east of the city there’s the Medieval Banquet Restaurant, located in St. Katharine’s Dock.

Currently the Medieval Banquet Restaurant is celebrating the 500 year anniversary of  King Henry VIII’s accession to the throne.  After a major overhaul of the restaurant, it has recently reopened.

Dinner at the Medieval Banquet Restaurant includes:

  • A four-course meal
  • Unlimited wine and beer
  • Dining by torchlight

While eating, visitors while be able to enjoy:

  • Dancing wenches
  • Fighting knights
  • A magical medieval pageant
  • After the meal there is music and dancing

The menu is full of variety:

  • Cold roast meats, pate, salad, and brown bread
  • Soup made from vegetables, cream, and fresh herbs
  • Fresh roast chicken with honey and barbeque sauce, vegetables, roast potatoes

There is even a vegetarian menu, but it must be requested when booking a reservation.  It includes:

  • Vegetarian pate, salad, and brown bread
  • Soup made from vegetables, cream, and fresh herbs
  • Mediterranean vegetable gnocchi

The Medieval Banquet Restaurant schedule is as follows:

  • 7:45 – doors open
  • 8:15 – dinner is served and entertainment begins
  • 10:30 – Entertainment finishes up
  • 11:30 – Disco ends

The cost for dinner at  the Medieval Banquet Restaurant is:

Adults – £45

Children ages 4 – 14 – £30
