The Museum of London

The Museum of London, located in the City of London near the Barbican Centre, is a museum of urban history. Its various collections of photographs, paintings, and other artefacts detail the circumstances of life in London from the Prehistoric era until modern times. The Museum of London opened to the public in 1976, and features both permanent and temporary exhibitions. The museum houses over two million objects of art that are significant to London culture.

–Admission to The Museum of London is free for all visitors. The building is open daily from 10 AM until 6 PM, and stays open until 9 PM on the first Thursday of every month. The museum is accessible by car, bicycle, bus, and tube.
